Generally, silicon solar cells are made into P+/N type structure or N+/P type structure, P+ and N+, which represent the type of electrical conduction of the semiconductor material of solar cells positive light layer. The p-n junction solar cell contains a shallow p-n junction formed on the surface, a strip and finger-like frontal ohm contact, an ohm contact covering the entire back surface and a layer of anti-reflection layer on the front. When the battery is exposed to the solar spectrum, photons with energy less than the gap width of Eg do not contribute to the battery's output. A photon greater than the gap width of Eg will contribute to the battery's output, while a photon less than Eg will be consumed in the form of heat. Therefore, in the design and manufacture of solar cells, the influence of this part of heat on the stability and life of the cells must be considered.
